My Favourite Tools and Resources For My Online Business

There are so many great tools available to help you run your online business. This list by no means includes all of the amazing apps and resources out there, but these are what I am currently using in my business. I have broken them down by category, which will make it easier to come back and add to later.

This website is built on Squarespace which is super user friendly. You don’t really need to know how to right code, and it also has a lot of great features built into it. However if you are looking for something that is a bit more customizable and don’t mind a little more of a learning curve, then would be the way to go. Again, for those less technical folks like myself, I recommend using the Divi theme with your WordPress site.

Canva and PicMonkey are great sites to design all your marketing materials from social media graphics to ebooks and check lists.

Calendar & Appointment Setting

AcuityScheduling is an amazing tool I use to book all of my appointments. It syncs with my google calendar as well as other apps that I use for my business.

Bookkeeping & Invoices

Freshbooks helps me keep my business finances in order. It has so many amazing features, you’ll have to check out for yourself. They offer the first 30 days free!

Ever see adds for those online courses and wonder which ones are worth taking? Of course, I haven’t had the pleasure of taking all of them, but here are a few that I have that really helped me in my business.

1K1Day with Nicole Walters — this usually has a long waitlist, so get on it! When the opportunity comes up, take it! You won’t regret it. She also has other mini courses that you can take in the meantime here.

The Virtual Assistant Bootcamp with Abby Ashley is an extremely thorough course to get your virtual assistant business up and running. If you are thinking of becoming a VA start there.

Freedom Hackers by Kimra Luna offers so many valuable courses. If you have a chance to take Be True Brand You, do it! Though I think now it’s a live event. But be sure to check out what Kimra has to offer.

I will continue to add to this list. Is there a business product or app that you love and think should be included, leave me a comment!
